When he applauded in response to what his favorite food was, he told how he loved cooking vegetable biryani without making it spicy and with curd.
“It’s a wholesome, healthy food with minerals from the right mix of vegetables and carbohydrates,” he said.
“Plus, cooking helps to distract the mind from fatigue after a long training session.”

Prime Minister’s brainchild Narendra ModiThe outreach envisages interaction of all Olympians and Paralympians with students from 75 schools over a period of two years to motivate the youth to take up a “balanced diet” or a balanced diet and engage in fitness activities.
He also shared tips on eating right, right fitness regime and some important life lessons.
Neeraj also spoke about the biggest sports and fitness quiz, Fit India Quiz.
“I was surprised to hear some of the answers the students gave me and appreciate their knowledge. They can reach greater heights with the right kind of discipline and dedication,” he said.
Earlier, the management of Sanskardham Educational Society honored Neeraj. He appreciated the work being done by the society and appreciated the commitment and dedication in empowering the students to prepare them for the future.
Tarundeep Rai (Archery), Sarthak Bhambri (Athletics), Sushila Devi (Judo), KC Ganapathi and Varun Thakkar (Sailing) will be visiting schools in other parts of the country in the coming two months.
The Paralympians include Avani Lekhara (para shooting), Bhavna Patel (para table tennis) and Devendra Jhajharia (Para Athletics) will lead the initiative.
