BCCI AGM: India tour of South Africa to begin on December 26 | Cricket News

Kolkata: 90th Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was held in Kolkata on Saturday.
It was decided in the meeting that India’s tour of South Africa, 2021-22, would go ahead with revised dates and itinerary. The team will take part in a three-match ODI series starting on December 26, 2021, followed by a three-match ODI series.
Originally the tour was to begin on December 17. The tour also included four T20Is, which will now be played at a later date.

Two representatives were included in the Indian Premier League Governing Council – Brijesh Patel and MKJ Majumdar.
Pragyan Ojha He was also included in the IPL Governing Council as a representative of the Indian Cricketers’ Association.
The annual budget for the financial year 2021-22 was adopted by the General Assembly. The audited accounts for the financial years 2019-20 and 2020-21 were adopted by the general body.

The BCCI also announced the formation of Tours, Fixtures and Technical Committee, Umpire Committee and Differently Abled Cricket Committee.
The age limit of match officials and support staff has been increased from 60 years to 65 years, subject to their fitness.
The infrastructure development initiative of the northeastern states, Puducherry, Bihar and Uttarakhand will be taken up by the BCCI.
