Asian team squash: Indian men’s team loses to Malaysia in final | More sports News

Kuala Lumpur: The top seeded Indian men’s team lost 1-2 to second seed Malaysia in the 20th final. Asian Squash Team Championship on Saturday.
Top player Saurav Ghosal went down to NG Ian Yoo 10-12, 4-11, 8-11. Ramit Tandon Extended Iwan Yoon to four games but the Indians could not match it.
Ghosal fought hard against his Malaysian rival in the opening game but lost the next two matches.

This was the third time that Indian men had entered the finals, after doing so in 1981 and 2012.
The Indian women’s team lost to Hong Kong in the semi-finals.
